Assistive Technology

A Trillium student works on a computer program designed to improve working memory. Working memory refers to a brain system that provides temporary storage and manipulation of information necessary for complex cognitive tasks such as language comprehension, learning and reasoning. Students with learning disabilities and / or ADHD often have poor working memory abilities.

Welcome to our Trillium Demonstration School website!

Trillium School is located in the community of Milton nestled near the picturesque Halton Hills. Established in 1979, the school campus is within easy commuting distance from Toronto area and conveniently located near international and local airports.

The school offers a variety of services to meet the educational and social/emotional needs of students with language-based learning disabilities and ADHD.

Trillium offers both day and residential programming, as determined by the Provincial Committee on Learning Disabilities (PCLD) placement.
