Mission Statement

Ernest C. Drury Elementary School for the Deaf

The Ernest C. Drury Elementary School for the Deaf is a bilingual bicultural learning environment where all staff strive to develop in its students the knowledge, skills and attitudes as well as the social and emotional well-being they need to function confidently productively in a changing society.

Our Students Will:

  • Have positive self-images as Deaf persons
  • Have pride in their abilities
  • Be able to make wise decisions
  • Believe in the value of life-long learning
  • Be motivated to become a contributing member of society.

Ernest C. Drury Secondary School for the Deaf

Ernest C. Drury Secondary School for the Deaf provides Bilingual-Bicultural education in a rich and diversified community which values American Sign Language, English and technological literacy, builds knowledge, skills and confidence and promotes life-long learning. Students, teachers, parents, residence and support staff, Deaf and hearing communities and other stakeholders work in partnership to prepare our young adults to meet the expectations of our global communities.
