Vision and Mission Development Process

Based on survey information and input from public meetings, the Strategic Planning Committee identified the development of a Vision and Mission for PSB as a top priority

A committee, comprised of

• classroom teachers
• support workers
• residential staff
• parents
• students
• administrators
• agency and community members
  

worked collaboratively to articulate a vision and mission that would guide our attitudes, beliefs and behaviors. The development process served as a cohesive learning experience for all, and resulted in a stronger understanding of a variety of perspectives.

Our Vision statement identifies the horizon we are all working toward when we are truly living our values. It serves to articulate a common direction.

Our Mission addresses our purpose and our commitment to ensure we embed purpose in our daily practice.
